About Ulatu
The journey continues
Ulatu’s roots can be traced back more than a quarter of a century, to the early days of the web and hosting.
Since then, the company has evolved through several chapters, adapting to changes in technology and the way businesses and individuals use the internet. What began as a small web hosting operation has grown into an established hosting platform serving customers globally.
For more than two decades, we have provided web hosting, domain names, email and the infrastructure that helps people and businesses maintain their online presence. Along the way, technology has changed considerably, but our approach has remained the same… provide reliable infrastructure, competitive pricing and genuine support.
Our history
The business began in 2001, when web hosting was very different from today. In its early years, the company grew through the acquisition of several smaller hosting businesses, resulting in an increased customer base.
In 2004, the business was acquired by Vincent Gabriele, who continued to operate the company for almost twenty years. During his period of ownership, the company traded under the CW3 Web Hosting name and remained deliberately focused on providing an alternative to the large hosting providers.
He believed that being a small business should not mean offering a smaller service. He invested in quality infrastructure and placed great importance on providing customers with competitive pricing and personal support.
That philosophy remains an important part of our foundation today.
Experience matters
The internet has changed in many ways since 2001.
Servers have become much more powerful, websites have become more complex, security has become extremely important, and businesses now depend on the web in ways that would have been difficult to believe back in 2001.
Our experience has evolved alongside those changes.
We understand that hosting is more than simply providing storage and bandwidth. Behind every website is a person, a business, a project or an idea that someone has invested time and effort into. Our job is to provide the infrastructure that allows those things to “just work”.
And when something goes wrong, we believe support should mean more than simply pointing someone towards a knowledgebase article or an FAQ.

We always try to help customers resolve problems, even when those problems fall outside the strict boundaries of what most hosting providers might normally be expected to handle. We believe that doing the right thing for our clients is good business, and that their success is ultimately our success.
The next chapter
The move to the Ulatu name represents the next stage in the company’s development.
The decision to rebrand was not about starting over. It was about building an identity that better demonstrates where the company is today and the direction we are heading in.
The base was built. The infrastructure, experience, customers and knowledge learned over the years provided a solid foundation to build on.
Ulatu is the next chapter.

Our aim is straightforward… to continue improving.
We want to provide a hosting service that is on par with the largest hosting providers whilst boasting the accessibility and service that comes from being a small business.
That means continuing to invest, improving the systems and tools we provide, introducing new services and finding better ways to support you, our customers.
We don’t intend to stand still.
Technology will continue to change, and so will the expectations of the people who access it. We intend to evolve whilst remaining true to the principles that have served the company so well for more than a quarter of a century.
The name is new. The experience isn’t.
